چکیده
A new biocomposite cross-linked glutaraldehyde-chitosan/MgO/Fe3O4 (CTS-GL/MgO/Fe3O4) adsorbent with magneto-responsiveness was prepared and applied for the removal of reactive blue 19 (RB-19), a synthetic textile dye. The CTS-GL/MgO/Fe3O4 structurally characterized using spectroscopic (XRD, FTIR, SEM–EDX), its physicochemical properties were evaluated potentiometry pHpzc analyses. influence various adsorption parameters (A: dosage; B: initial solution pH; C: process temperature; D: contact time) on efficiency RB-19 statistically optimized Box-Behnken design (BBD). analysis variance (ANOVA) indicates presence five significant statistical interactions between parameters, as follows: AB, AC, AD, BC, BD. equilibrium dye uptake by Freundlich isotherm model heterogeneous adsorption, while kinetics well-described pseudo-second-order model. maximum capacity towards 193.2 mg/g at 45 °C. This work highlights development recoverable magnetic favourable good separation ability an external field. Moreover, adsorbents from treated is easy convenient apply to continuous flow systems, which highly preferred industrial applications.

متن کاملElectrochemical Degradation of Reactive Blue 19 Dye in Textile Wastewater
Textile wastewater is notoriously known to contain strong colour, a highly fluctuating pH and significant COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) values. Because of these characteristics, treatment of these effluents has been rather difficult. Traditional methods for dealing with textile wastewater consist of various combinations of biological, physical and chemical methods. Because of the large variabili...

BACKGROUND Studies were carried on the decolorization of the textile dye reactive blue 19 (RB 19) by a novel isolate of Coprinus plicatilis (C. plicatilis) fungi. We describe an in vitro optimization process for decolorization and its behavior under different conditions of carbon and nitrogen sources, pH, temperature and substrate concentration. RESULTS The optimal conditions for decolorizati...
